F1 Boston
F1 Boston is a 106,000 square foot conference and entertainment
facility. With more than 8,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a 5,200
sq. ft. function facility, billiards hall, restaurant, lounges and
the only 2 European-style indoor racetracks in New England--F1 Boston
caters to corporate events and private parties.
The facility implemented Intertask to improve
its sales and event planning processes. The system monitors and
manages the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through contract
and on through completion of the event. F1's Sales Manager utilizes
Intertask to assign leads to salespeople, monitor their progress,
assess their follow-through, analyze their productivity and communicate
information regarding clients and events. Each salesperson tracks
his or her own activity, delegating tasks as appropriate and communicating
with other departments as required. The system automatically generates
contracts, and informs Catering when an event is scheduled, including
data such as number of people and type of food requested. F1's Racetrack
Manager also follows event planning activity, in order to staff
according to event needs.
